Legendary US presenter Dick Clark dies at 82: reports

Legendary US radio and television presenter and producer Dick Clark died Wednesday at age 82, according to media reports.
Clark, famous for shows including “American Bandstand” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” died of a heart attack in Los Angeles, said the TMZ celebrity news website.
The entertainer, whose eponymous production company remains a key force in the industry, died of a “massive” heart attack after undergoing an outpatient procedure on Tuesday, it said.
Spokespeople for Clark or his production company did not immediately respond to requests for confirmation or comment.
