US police arrested more than fifty Occupy Wall Street protesters on Saturday December 17th, as several hundred demonstrators gathered in Manhattan, New York to celebrate the Occupy Wall Street movement’s third birthday.
New York police said they have arrested a suspect who allegedly set an elderly woman afire, killing her in the elevator of her apartment building Saturday. Police say the suspect claimed the woman owed him two thousand dollars. (Dec. 18)
